Thanks to a lot of hard work by Frank (Holmes) Johnston and his two apprentices Eric Overing and Peter Jobe, new windows were installed in the Race Shack on Saturday December 23rd. Jennifer Jobe supervised the project which, just like the renovation shows on TV, encountered more challenges than expected. Special thanks to Atlantic Windows for donating these great new windows!
Work on the Shack continued on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Dave and Heather Gerhardt, Peter and Jennifer Jobe, Jamie LeMesurier and Stephen Smith pounded nails, cut lumber, painted, cleaned and have generally made the Shack ship-shape for the season to come.
